Another CC spin

It’s time for another Classics Club Spin. Here’s how it works:
- Before Sunday 16th August, list 20 books that remain to be read on your Classics Club list. (This is your Spin list.)
- On 16th August the folks at The Classics Club will post a number between 1 and 20.
- The challenge is to read whatever book falls under that number on your Spin list by 4th October 2026.

My list

Well that’s it whatever comes up I need to read by 4th October. Some of you eagle-eyed readers will see that some titles are on my 20BOS26 list but given the changes made to that over the weeks for various reasons I don’t think it’s a problem but should it clash I’ll choose the next on the list.
Are you joining in? Put a link below to your list and I’ll share it over the coming days. Enjoy whatever spin number is drawn and I look forward to reading what you think about your chosen book.

Great list! I have read 7 of these, and #18 is my favorite.
And we have 1 in common!: https://wordsandpeace.com/2026/08/12/the-classics-club-the-classics-spin-45/

Thank you. Glad The Secret Garden is a favourite. Yours is a good list too and I like the way you repeated the eight titles, a good way to ensure getting a book that’s been around for a while. Hope you enjoy whichever one is chosen.
