It’s WWWWednesday!

Hosted by Taking on a World of Words, this meme is all about the three Ws:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Why not join in too? Leave a comment with your link at Taking on a World of Words and then go blog hopping!

What are you currently reading?

I’m just about to start reading The Retreat by Sarah Pearse for my book club read.

‘A Virtual Crime Book Club’ meets monthly our next meeting is Monday, 7 August 23. Why not join us?

What did you recently finish reading?

I’ve read Red as Blood by Lilja Sigurdardottir, review to come.

Also, Cold, Cold Bones by Kathy Reichs (because I wanted to read this before getting to The Bone Hacker), review to come.

Finally, The Bone Hacker by Kathy Reichs for a RandomThingsTour, my spot is on 3 August.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll be reading a few other books in August but two I’m definitely reading are:-

‘A Virtual Crime book club’ read – The Retreat by Sarah Pearse – club is on Monday, 7 August.

Murder at the Residence by Stella Blómkvist for a Corylus Books BlogTour my spot is the 30 August

#20Booksofsummer23

I may manage 12 – 15 books🤞🏼 this year rather than the anticipated 10 books but I will still see how it goes over the coming weeks.

Here’s the list as it stands now:-

So I’ve read my anticipated 10 books now. I still have three to review but that’ll happen over the next week. Then I’m onto my book club read and another BlogTour read on the 30 August. That’s 12 books and as you can see there’s plenty of time between 7 August and the 30 of August so I’ll hopefully be able to read another three (!) to manage 15 this summer but even if it’s just one or two more I’ll be happy to have managed more than the original 10 expected.

Here are the extra three, should I manage one or more of them:

13. False Witness by Karin Slaughter

14. A Change of Circumstance by Susan Hill

15. Murder at Montgomery Hall by Gina Kirkham

This meme is a great way to keep my reading organised and share a regular weekly post with you. I hope that you enjoy it too. Do share your thoughts on this post and the books featured above by leaving a comment below. It’s always good to read what you think.
