My Month in Novellas/ New to my TBR

I had a very up and down time of #NovNov22 only managing the one book for classics week turned out to be better than my next week’s read. Firstly, I mixed up week 2 and 3! Then wavering over what I should do eventually I decided to finish the in translation read. Started the nonfiction book but by then I was getting behind and put it aside in order to pick up the Buddy read and sort week 4 out. I ended up reading Foster, The Bookshop and The Uncommon Reader.

Thinking I was back on track I returned to finish God and Caesar hoping I’d be able to get onto the further two contemporary reads I had in mind would be possible when I came down with a nasty cold and everything stopped! I just couldn’t manage to do any more reading.

So the end of NovNov2022 fizzled out in a bit of a whimper but that’s the way it is sometimes and the books are still there to read and enjoy another day.

Did I complete #NovNov22?

No! – but I enjoyed what I read as you will see in my posts and I’ll carry on checking out the other posts bloggers put up over the month.

God and Caesar is in both read and not (yet) read because I was so close to finishing it – only thwarted by not being very well. I know, excuses, excuses!

I had put The Time Machine on my list of four possibilities for classic week but only managed the one. So here’s what Nancy thought The Time Machine by HG Wells – Nancy Elin

I found the chat about Sybil interesting; I have enjoyed reading Tove Johanson so liked a post on Fair Play and also enjoyed the following Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf – Kate at Books are my Favourite and Best | Orlando by Virginia Woolf – Chris at Calmgrove | Marlen Haushofer – MarinaSofia at FindingTimeToWrite | amongst others.
