It’s WWW-Wednesday!

WWWWednesdays meme, formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm, has been revived and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading Havana Fever by Leonardo Padura for Random Things Tour in November.

What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was The Brutal Tide by Kate Rhodes.

What do you think you’ll read next?
Still on my radar is Iain Hood’s book Every Trick in the Book. Another I’d like to get to soon is A Terrible Kindness by Jo Browning Wroe. I’m still sorting some novella’s for #NovNov22 the list is huge but I have to be realistic about what I’ll manage especially as my reading has been a little slower this year.
Are you interested in joining #NovNov22? Rebecca of Bookish Beck and Cathy at 746Books are co-hosting Novellas in November as a month-long challenge with four weekly prompts. There is a ‘buddy read’ feature this year for which Foster by Claire Keegan has been chosen. You can pop to their blog using the links above or check it out on my blog.

Well that’s another Wednesday and one I’ve actually managed to post on for WWW-Wednesday. If you’ve any thoughts or have read any of these maybe leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

Try a Terrible Kindness Janet – but you’ll need tissues!

Thanks, Jill. I will do but it may be December now before I get to it. This year has been a rather slow reading year. I’m finding that it’s taking me not only a bit longer to read a book but I leave picking up another book for a while. I will get to it though.

I remember the slow reading periods, I’m sure it will pass eventually. The mind is a strange beast! I’m the opposite at the minute and just devouring books. Anything to avoid the real world!

Pleased to hear you’re doing so well with your reading. The mind is a strange beast as you say, Jill! Yes, I dare say it will get better. I do feel that once I get into a groove again it will help. Indeed! Leaving the real world is no bad idea at the moment (it’s been a long moment mind). Just a matter of keep going and hope for the best on several fronts.
Keep well and take care.
