Simon from Stuck in a Book and Karen from Kaggsy’s Bookish Ramblings are the hosts for The 1962 Club which runs from 16-22 October.
Everyone can join in a week of reading books published in 1962 just share your thoughts wherever you share bookish thoughts online. Use #1962Club on social media so folk can it check out.

I enjoy joining in on these challenges when I can. I usually only read one book but if you take part read as many as you like and share your thoughts by 22 October. It’s a good year with plenty of variety so something for everyone. Here’s a list on a Google search if you need some ideas.

I found this on my shelves so will be reading One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Solzhenitsyn (translated by Ralph Parker) and published by Penguin Books.

What did you recently finish reading?

I was delighted to be on the BlogTour for The Traitor by Ava Glass my spot was an extract from the book. The publishers, Penguin Books, kindly sent me an ebook of The Traitor even though I wasn’t down for a review spot. I will share my thoughts soon.

I posted my thoughts on White as Snow by Lilja Sigurdardóttir for the RandomTTour BlogTour yesterday. It is the 3rd book in the An Áróra Investigation series from Orenda Books and follows Cold as Hell and Red as Blood.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Novembers book club falls on 30 October and the book for this month is Little Deaths by Emma Flint.
Two BlogTours are coming up. The Wolf by Samuel Bjork for a RandomTTour (my spot 15 Nov) and Soldiers Don’t Go Mad by Charles Glass for a Grace Pilkington Tour (30 Nov).

Novella November is happening and I will be reading The Hermit by Louise Walter and possibly more.

This meme is a great way to keep my reading organised and share a regular weekly post with you. I hope that you enjoy it too. Do share your thoughts on this post and the books featured above by leaving a comment below. It’s always good to read what you think.
