What are you currently reading?

I decided to pop in Cold, Cold Bones by Kathy Reichs. It was on my list to read for #20booksofsummer23 anyway and it just seemed right to read it before the upcoming Random Things Tours blog tour for The Bone Hacker (see below).

What did you recently finish reading?

Deadly Autumn Harvest by Tony Mott from Corylus Books for my BlogTour spot on 27th July.
Red as Blood by Lilja Sigurðardóttir from Orenda Books Ltd. Will post soon.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll be reading The Bone Hacker by Kathy Reichs for a Random Things Tours for the upcoming book The Bone Hacker next in the Temperance Brennan series, published on 03 August 2023 by Simon and Schuster. My post is on 3 August.
‘A Virtual Crime book club’ read – The Retreat by Sarah Pearse – club is on Monday, 7 August.
Murder at the Residence by Stella Blómkvist for a Corylus Books BlogTour my spot is the 30 August.

#20Booksofsummer23
I may manage 12 – 15 books🤞🏼 this year rather than the anticipated 10 books but I will still see how it goes over the coming weeks.
Here’s the list as it stands now:-
- The Pawnshop of Stolen Dreams by Victoria Williamson
- Missing Pieces by Tim Weaver
- Twin Truths by Jacqueline Sutherland
- Black Fell by Mari Hannah
- Silenced by Sólveig Pálsdóttir
- The Bleeding by Johan Gustawsson
- Deadly Autumn Harvest by Tony Mott translated by Marina Sofia from Corylus Books (Blog Tour) My post: 27 July.
- Red as Blood by Lilja Sigurðardóttir
- Cold, Cold Bones by Kathy Reichs
- The Bone Hacker by Kathy Reichs A Random Things Tours for the upcoming book The Bone Hacker by Kathy Reichs the next in the Temperance Brennan series which is published on 03 August 2023 by Simon and Schuster. My post is 3 August.
- The Retreat by Sarah Pearse for A Virtual Crime Book Club on 7th August.
- Murder at the Residence by Stella Blómkvist a Corylus Books BlogTour my spot is the 30 August.
That’s 12 books and as you can see there’s plenty of time between 7 August and the 30 of August so I’ll hopefully be able to read another three (!) to manage 15 this summer but even if it’s just one or two more I’ll be happy to have managed more than the original 10 expected.
Here are the extra three, should I manage one or more of them:
13. False Witness by Karin Slaughter
14. A Change of Circumstance by Susan Hill
15. Murder at Montgomery Hall by Gina Kirkham

This meme is a great way to keep my reading organised and share a regular weekly post with you. I hope that you enjoy it too. Do share your thoughts on this post and the books featured above by leaving a comment below. It’s always good to read what you think.
