What are you currently reading?

My next BlogTour book is Deadly Autumn Harvest by Tony Mott from Corylus Books on 27th July so I have room to read another book first.

I seem to be reading indie presses at the moment so why not continue?I’ve therefore chosen to read Red as Blood by Lilja Sigurðardóttir from Orenda Books Ltd. Then onto Deadly Autumn Harvest by Tony Mott.

What did you recently finish reading?

The Bleeding by Johana Gustawsson, translated by David Warriner from Orenda Books for a @RandomTTours BlogTour, my spot was yesterday and here are my thoughts.

Silenced by Sólveig Pálsdóttir, translated by Quentin Bates from Corylus Books for the Virtual Crime book club on 10 July. I’ll put up my thoughts on this hopefully on 14 July.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Once I’ve finished my two ‘current’ reads I’ll be reading The Bone Hacker by Kathy Reichs, Murder at the Residence by Stella Blómkvist and the August ‘A Virtual Crime book club’ read.

I may manage 12 – 15 books🤞🏼 this year rather than the anticipated 10 books but I will still see how it goes over the coming weeks.

A RandomThings BlogTour for the upcoming book The Bone Hacker by Kathy Reichs the next in the Temperance Brennan series which is published on 03 August 2023 by Simon and Schuster. My post will be on publication day!

I am also going to have to factor the, as yet unknown, book club choice for August into my #20Booksofsummer23 reading! This would become my 11th read.

11. A Virtual Crime Book Club read for August (yet to be voted on)

So it looks like my 10 books will grow but whether I get to 15 I will have to see. If I do then I will choose titles from the list below which were either on my original list or my swap lists.

So, from the original list I read two early (Sudden Death by Rachel Lynch and When The Guilty Cry by M J Lee) and have pushed four down the list (see 12 – 15 above) to accommodate five new books and one that was moved up. The changes came about for my book club reads and BlogTours.
