A Readers Musings and Reviews
It’s WWW Wednesday!
WWWWednesdays meme, formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm, has been revived and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
What are you currently reading?
I’m just finishing Under the Snow and going onto read God and Caesar (weeks 2 & 3) of #NovNov22.
The eagle eyed of you will have seen that I (accidentally) swapped week 2 and 3 of #NovNov22! So I started reading the Ekman then realised I should have been reading the Williams 🙄🤷🏽♀️🤭. So I’m going to finish both albeit in a strange order and will get to my thoughts in time.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys. I’ll be posting on this one shortly.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Foster by Claire Keegan, which is the Buddy read and can be read at any point during the month.
Then week 4 is contemporary novellas: The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett, Every Trick in the Book by Iain Hood, The Bookshop by Penelope Fitzgerald and The Hermit by Louise Walters. I really am hoping to manage all of them.
Well that’s it for this week. It’s not been the most productive week but not to worry it’ll all work out in the end.
Still that’s another Wednesday I’ve actually managed to post in a row for WWW-Wednesday. If you’ve any thoughts or have read any of these maybe leave a comment below and let me know what you think.
